It's very easy to get this hook back if you have deleted it accidentally.

If you do not have the IPB .zip file to hand, download it.

Extract the .zip and look inside \admin\applications_addon\ips\calendar\xml\hooks for board_index_calendar.xml

All you need to do with this .xml file is re-import it via the ACP's Manage Hooks and your Calendar hook will be restored.
