Instalacja wygląda tak samo jak w IPS4 - wchodzisz do ACP, zakładka Customization > Languages, klikasz + Create New, przechodzisz na zakładkę Upload, wgrywasz plik XML, wybierasz lokalizację polski (Polska) i zapisujesz. Gotowe. Aktualizację spolszczenia do kolejnych wersji robisz przez Wyślij nową wersję przy języku polskim.

Jedno zastrzeżenie - to pierwsze wydanie pod IC5, a nowych fraz było naprawdę dużo. Mogą trafić się tu i ówdzie jakieś potknięcia stylistyczne czy niezręczne sformułowania. Jeśli coś takiego znajdziesz, nie przemilczaj tego - zgłoś na forum, a zespół tłumaczy się tym zajmie. Każde zgłoszenie ma znaczenie i naprawdę pomaga nam tę paczkę doszlifować.

Domyślnie Commerce generuje klucze losowo w momencie zakupu, bez możliwości kontroli ich formatu czy wartości. To oznacza, że jeśli sprzedajesz licencje do zewnętrznego oprogramowania (np. gry, pluginy, systemy SaaS), nie możesz użyć kluczy wygenerowanych przez producenta - musisz polegać na losowych ciągach znaków, które nic nie znaczą dla Twojego systemu.

Jak to działa

Wgrywasz pulę kluczy do aplikacji (ręcznie lub przez import), przypisujesz je do konkretnego produktu w Commerce, a po dokonaniu zakupu system automatycznie przydziela kupującemu kolejny, nieużyty klucz z puli. Każdy klucz jest jednorazowy – po przypisaniu do zamówienia nie może zostać wydany ponownie.

Przykłady zastosowania

Aktualizacja z wersji 4.x do 5.x

Przed rozpoczęciem aktualizacji wykonaj kopię zapasową bazy danych. Jest to wymóg obowiązkowy - bez jej posiadania nie będziesz w stanie zweryfikować poprawności migracji danych ani przywrócić stanu sprzed aktualizacji w razie problemów.

Kolejność aktualizacji jest następująca:

1. Zainstaluj wersję 5.x bez wcześniejszego odinstalowywania wersji 4.x
2. Wejdź do AdminCP i sprawdź, czy Twoje klucze licencyjne są widoczne w nowej wersji
3. Zweryfikuj, czy wszystkie dane zostały poprawnie przeniesione
4. Dopiero po potwierdzeniu poprawności danych odinstaluj starą wersję 4.x

Nowa wersja automatycznie migruje istniejące dane podczas instalacji, jednak kolejność kroków musi być bezwzględnie zachowana.

A powerful extension for Invision Community's Commerce module that enables the sale of pre-generated license keys - keys that were created externally by a third-party system or software vendor.

The Problem It Solves

By default, Commerce generates random license keys at the moment of purchase, with no control over their format or value. This makes it impossible to sell keys generated by external systems - meaning software vendors, game developers, and SaaS providers are forced to use meaningless random strings instead of their own license infrastructure.

How It Works

You upload a pool of keys to the application (manually or via import), assign them to a specific Commerce product, and after a successful purchase the system automatically assigns the next available, unused key from the pool to the buyer. Each key is single-use - once assigned to an order, it can never be issued again.

Example Use Cases

• Selling game activation keys (e.g. Steam keys or keys for your own game)
• Distributing software licenses (e.g. plugins, themes, desktop applications)
• Selling access codes to external platforms or SaaS services
• Distributing coupon or access codes generated by an external loyalty system

Upgrading from version 4.x to 5.x

Before proceeding, you must create a full database backup. This is mandatory - without it, you will not be able to verify data integrity after migration or restore your data if something goes wrong.

Follow these steps in order:

1. Install version 5.x - do NOT uninstall version 4.x first
2. Go to AdminCP and verify that your license keys are visible in the new version
3. Check that all data has been migrated correctly
4. Only after confirming the data is intact, uninstall the old 4.x version

The new version will automatically migrate your existing data during installation, but the above order of steps must be strictly followed.

Important: I am not responsible for any data loss resulting from incorrect upgrade procedures, skipping the database backup, or failure to follow the instructions above. You use this application and perform any upgrades at your own risk.
