Guidelines

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

  1. These rules set out the terms of participation in the Forum forum.invisionize.pl Support IP.Board. The rules become binding upon submission of the registration form or upon acceptance after any amendments have been introduced.
  2. The Administration reserves the right to amend the rules at any time.
  3. The User agrees to use the Forum in accordance with generally accepted moral standards and netiquette rules, and without violating Polish law. The Administration ensures that it will protect the Polish language in accordance with the requirements of the Polish Language Act.
  4. Matters not covered by these rules shall not be subject to arbitrary interpretation and will be considered individually by the Forum Administration.
  5. Only adults may be Users of the Forum.

II. PUBLISHING CONTENT

  1. It is forbidden to post or distribute on the Forum any materials containing content generally considered inappropriate, including offensive, pornographic, hateful content, content containing threats, inciting xenophobia, racism, antisemitism, conflicts between nations, and in particular content contrary to Polish law. The distribution of piracy in any form is prohibited, including:
    • indicating sources for obtaining illegal software,
    • sharing illegally obtained software,
    • providing serial keys, cracks, etc.,
    • providing information that enables illegal use of software,
    • asking questions about how to obtain any of the above,
    • misappropriating or infringing copyrights.
  2. Users are obliged to weigh their words carefully so as not to offend the feelings or beliefs of others.
  3. Users acknowledge that Forum staff have the right to remove, edit or close any thread at any time if necessary.
  4. A User who lowers the standard of Forum discussion or the coherence of threads, in particular by:
    • posting content that significantly deviates from the main topic,
    • disregarding orthographic rules,
    • using vulgar language (bypassing the Forum Censor),
    • making provocative remarks toward other Users,
    • posting content that may disrupt order and relations between Forum Users,
    • writing in an incomprehensible manner or in a way that raises doubts as to intent,
    • disrupting proper communication between Forum Users,
    • redirecting Users to other websites in order to obtain answers,
    may be warned privately or publicly, may receive negative reputation, may receive an official warning, may be temporarily or permanently banned, and as a last resort may be removed from the Forum user list.
  5. Users acknowledge that lowering the standard of Forum discussion by posting off-topic content or content that may disrupt order and relations between Users also includes publicly correcting other regular Users on spelling, grammar, punctuation or coherence of expression. Please refrain from publicly correcting Users without the consent of Forum staff - all such remarks should be sent via private message (PM).
  6. Users acknowledge that redirecting Users to other websites in order to obtain answers also includes redirecting Users to search engines or providing links to search engines as the sole "answer" to a question - unless such a link is provided only as a supplement to a comprehensive answer.
  7. Users acknowledge that the signature edited in the User profile is a block of text that may be appended to posts. The permitted number of clickable advertising (nonprofit) links is 1. More links may be used, but only within the invisionize.pl domain. The maximum number of lines is 5 (a blank line also counts as a line). Graphics may be included in reasonable dimensions - disputed cases are resolved by the Administration and the decision is final.
  8. Users acknowledge that posts/messages written on the Forum are the sole property of their author under copyright law, but in the event that a User is removed from the Forum user list, the User agrees that their posts/messages may remain on the Forum so as not to disrupt the coherence of the discussions they are part of.
  9. Users agree not to post content from competing services that contains identical or similar content to this service. Such content will be removed and the user may receive a warning.
  10. Users agree to seek help on general IP.Board/IPS4/IC5-related topics only through Forum threads. Using private messages, statuses, the shoutbox, or any other place for this purpose is prohibited.

III. PROCESSING AND PROTECTION OF USERS' PERSONAL DATA

  1. The administrator of Forum Users' personal data is InterMedia - Dawid Pieron, ul. Zawiła 17, 32-005 Niepołomice (hereinafter: "the Administrator"). Contact details: [email protected], tel. 505-104-397.
  2. Users' personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
    1. For the purpose necessary to enable Users to use the Forum. The legal basis for processing personal data for this purpose is the exercise of the User's rights arising from joining the forum (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: GDPR)),
    2. For the purpose of pursuing the Administrator's legitimate interests (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), in particular for archival purposes, creating backups, ensuring the security of data stored on the Forum, and for the purpose of pursuing or defending against potential claims,
    3. For sending commercial information to the User at their indicated email address - the legal basis for such processing is the User's consent (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  3. The Administrator will process Users' data for the following periods:
    1. For as long as the User maintains an account on the Forum. Data of a User whose account has been deleted may be processed by the Administrator in backups until such backups are updated.
    2. Where data is processed for the purpose of pursuing the Administrator's legitimate interests - until those interests are fulfilled or the User objects to such processing.
    3. Where consent has been given to receive commercial information electronically - data may be processed for this purpose until such consent is withdrawn.
  4. Users' data may be disclosed to the following recipients:
    1. Entities processing data on behalf of the Administrator (e.g. entities providing hosting services, i.e. webh.pl, ul. Piotrkowska 148/150, 90-063 Łódź), acting on the Administrator's instructions.
    2. Entities authorised to receive data under applicable law, i.e. public authorities in connection with proceedings conducted by those authorities (e.g. police, prosecution service, courts), or for the purpose of defending against or pursuing potential claims by the Administrator.
  5. The Administrator informs that all Forum Users have the following rights under the GDPR:
    1. The right to access the content of their personal data, including the right to obtain a copy of that data,
    2. The right to request rectification (correction) of personal data where such data is inaccurate or incomplete,
    3. The right to request erasure of personal data (the so-called "right to be forgotten"), where data is processed without a valid legal basis, in particular where:
      • the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected,
      • the User has objected to the processing of their personal data,
      • the User has withdrawn consent to the processing of their personal data and there is no other legal basis for processing,
      • the personal data is being processed unlawfully,
      • the data must be erased in order to comply with a legal obligation,
    4. The right to request restriction of processing of the User's personal data where:
      • the User contests the accuracy of the data,
      • the processing is unlawful and the User opposes erasure and requests restriction instead,
      • the Administrator no longer needs the data for its purposes but the User requires it for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims,
      • the User has objected to processing - pending verification of whether the Administrator's legitimate grounds override those of the User,
    5. The right to data portability where processing is based on consent or a contract and is carried out by automated means - i.e. the User has the right to request that their personal data be transmitted to another administrator where technically feasible,
    6. The right to object to the processing of the User's personal data where the legal basis for processing is the Administrator's legitimate interest,
    7. The right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal,
    8. The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection in Poland (currently the President of the Personal Data Protection Office) - if the User considers that the processing of their personal data violates the GDPR.
  6. Providing data for the purposes of creating and using a Forum account is voluntary, however failure to provide the data will result in the inability to create an account on the Forum.

Closing Remarks

  1. In expecting respect on the forum, show respect to other users.
  2. Try not to write under the influence of emotions, especially negative ones.
  3. Before submitting your post, read it again, check for errors, and consider whether your message conveys what you truly mean and what you want to be identified with by other readers.
  4. Remember that contrary to popular belief, you are not an anonymous figure on the internet!
  5. The Administration is not responsible for the content posted by forum users.
  6. Accounts are not deleted upon request. This includes all content posted from a given user account.
