This plugin enables direct link downloading for Amazon S3 storage method. Currently when a user goes to download a file, it just proxies through server instead of telling the client browser to download directly from s3...Following is reply from IPS: Quote The problem is that we store obfuscated file names remotely, so if we simply redirected the user to the Amazon URL the file they would download would have no extension and would not be usable. The attachment download routines download the file and then set the file size, content-type and other headers before sending to the browser. This plugin does not change the obfuscated file names, but it overrides Content-Disposition header of the response so that it will force SaveAs real file name in browsers. It has been brought to our attention that specifically crafted posted content followed by specific user actions can cause a scenario where untrusted javascript can execute. A patch is being released to address this potential issue. This download also includes a patch for an email issue previously reported to us. To install go to your AdminCP and install the hook. No readme is necessary, if you need help try to install another hook before this one. This allows you to set a custom songs to the forum profile. Moderators and Administrators are allowed to remove them easily, it will erase the file from your web server as well. You simply just go to the member's profile who has an inappropriate song and remove it by selecting "Remove Song" from Profile Song option. You can also set profile songs for members if you wish.
