This app allows your staff, with the appropriate permissions, to see topic viewers/readers as well as track your members topic viewing/reading behaviour. Topic readers will be displayed on topic view. Only unique views are logged. This means that whenever someone visits a topic, their latest visit will be logged and displayed. To track members topic reading history, go to their profiles where a new tab has been added called: Recent Viewed Topics. A widget is also available which will show members their x most recent viewed topics. And as last, but not least, topic view logs can be kept permanently or prunned after a certain amount of time. Do you have important topics at your forum, and you want to be sure that your members and/or guests really read them? Then this app can come in handy as it will help you with that. It will force your members as well as guests to read a particular topic and only then can they enter the forums and/or the other topics. Setting a topic as must read can be done separately for members and guests. i.e. You can set one topic as must read for your members, and another one for your guests. You can exclude certain groups from being forced to read topics. You can also enter a custom error message to be displayed to members/guests when informing them that they must read first the forced topic before they can read the rest of the topics. All the options are set at the app 's settings page. Each time a member/guest will read the topic that has been set as must read, the action will be logged and be available to the admins so they can keep track of things. For guests, their ip is logged. The members log can be searched for members and timeframe, whereas the guests log can be searched for ip addresses and time frame. If you want a particular member to re-read the must read topic, all you can do is delete their forced topic entry from the logs. Or you can delete the whole log for a do over of forced readings again. The same goes for guests logs too. Logs can be kept permanently or prunned after a certain amount of time. How to use (NE) Custom Field Placeholders The following information is provided to assist you with using the application - if you need assistance then post in the application's support topic and provide an indication of what field it is that you want to configure What is a 'Placeholder'? A placeholder is used to display a textual hint which describes what should be entered in to an input field, and is displayed when the field is empty. As the user enters content in to the field, the placeholder disappears from view. What fields in the IPS Community Suite support this? Some fields added by developers using the IPS 'Form Helper' functionality (i.e. the majority of fields) can support this attribute. These are: Text Email Password Search Tel Url TextArea (see Note #1 at the base of these instructions) Key/Value How to configure a placeholder? It is not possible for a list of all fields in the IPS Community Suite to be collated together in a nice and simple configuration page - configuration is going to require you to get hands-on with figuring out information about the input field which you want to affect. How do I do this? Most browsers now have an 'Inspect Element' option to determine information about a HTML element. It is this functionality which will be used to obtain the information needed to configure a placeholder for a field. Firstly, you need to determine the ID of the field which you want to affect as follows: Right click on your chosen input field Click on 'Inspect Element' Your browser will display the HTML code for the page, focussing on your chosen item The 'id' information is what is needed here. It will begin with one of the following: elInput_ elTextarea_ Note the 'id' information for the field and discard the 'elInput_' or 'elTextarea_' to retrieve the id which can be used to target the field with a new placeholder Example - getting the ID of the main title field on the 'New Topic' form in the Forums application The HTML code for the field is: <input type="text" name="topic_title" value="" id="elInput_topic_title" aria-required="true" maxlength="255"> The 'id' for the field is elInput_topic_title We discard the elInput_ from the id to give topic_title Create a new placeholder in the application Click on 'Add placeholder' Enter the id information e.g. topic_title Enter the text which you would like to display in the field Click Save Go and take a look at the result Notes "TextArea" does not mean "Editor" the editor fields on IPS are provided using CKEditor, which has its own 'Placeholder' functionality using a CKEditor plugin and requires additional configuration. This functionality is entirely outside of the scope of this application. If a developer has already added a placeholder to a field then this application will not replace it - the chances are that they have implemented a language string for the placeholder, so if you wish to change the text displayed in an existing input field then search for it in your Languages. This simple lightweight application allows you to send emails from the Invision Power Board platform through the AWS Simple Email Service API. This application sits on top of your configured email delivery methods and overrides your default settings. With the click of one button, enable and disable the service. The application also features powerful logs to help diagnose delivery issues and improve throughput and deliverability. Amazon SES is one of the most robust and cheapest transactional email service providers on the market. While this application is extremely lightweight and easy to configure, most of the work to correctly set up will occur within the AWS Console. Follow the following steps to correctly configure AWS to send emails. NOTE: When you initially begin to use AWS Simple Email Service, you will be in a non-production, sandbox environment allowing you to test the email service without affecting your deliverability and reputation. Once you are ready to enter production, you will need to request access from AWS under the Sending Statistics section. The form is self-explanatory and will not be covered here. View AWS Simple Email Service Pricing Installation: Create or Sign In to your AWS Console. Proceed to the IAM section of the AWS Console. On the left, select the Users section and add a new user. If you already have a user you would like to use, proceed to the next step. Enable programmatic access for the user account. Attach the AmazonSESFullAccess policy to the user account. Finish creating the account, adding any tags you'd like for easy identification. Copy and paste your Access Key and Secret Key into the corresponding fields within the Invision Power Board ACP settings. Proceed to the AWS Simple Email Service section of the AWS console. Select your closest region in the top right corner. Copy the corresponding region identifier and input it into the corresponding field within the Invision Power Board ACP settings. Save your Invision Power Board ACP settings. Back within the AWS Console, select Domains -> Verify a New Domain to add the domain you wish to send emails from. Make sure to check the "Generate DKIM Settings" checkbox. This will help with your deliverability. Update your DNS records for the domain you are verifying by adding the TXT and CNAME records that are presented. Make sure to not update the MX records as this will affect your ability to receive the emails. We are only configuring sending emails. Once the domain has been verified, you are ready to start sending emails. While in the sandbox environment, you will need to add your test receiving email address under the Email Addresses section or else you will receive a sending error. Once everything is configured, proceed back to the Invision Power Board ACP and proceed to Email Settings. You can use the built in Test Email Settings feature to test AWS SES. This app will give your members with the appropriate permissions to poke/like/thank each other. After a member has been poked/liked/thanked, they will receive a notification. Members can see and manage their custom notifications in a new page on the navigation bar. You can set the permissions at the app 's settings page. To prevent abuse, you can set a daily limit of how many members can receive custom notifications aand exclude groups from this limit. A list of all custom notifications given by members is logged at the app 's log page. Admins can view them, filter the results based on each notification and search through logs by senders, receivers, notification text and time frame. They can delete each notification individually or all of them in one go. Anytime someone deletes a custom notification, the action will be looged in the Moderator Logs page. Invision Community dropped support for Facebook and Instagram oembeds in a recent maintenance release due to changes on Facebook's end. This plugin brings that support back! To use this plugin you will need to Create a Facebook developer account if you haven't already (if your site supports Facebook logins, you already have one). Add the Oembed product. Supply the App ID and App Secret in the plugin settings. That's it! Better yet, any existing Facebook or Instagram oembeds will automatically be restored once you start using the new plugin. Note for those that require this information: This plugin calls Facebook's Graph API to generate an access token, and then calls Facebook's Graph API to process the oembed request. Application supports several payment scenarios, automatic refunds and integration with online sales register in order to comply with Federal Law No. 54 of the Russian Federation. YooKassa is intended for legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. For personal use please check out YooMoney (formerly known as Yandex.Money). What is YooKassa YooKassa is a popular payment aggregator in Russia, previously known as Yandex.Checkout (Yandex.Kassa). It allows you to accept payments using bank cards, e-money, online banking, and even cash at payment terminals. Application features Payments. Application allows you to accept payments in the following ways (check the actual list at https://yookassa.ru/payments or contact your manager): Bank cards: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Mir, and JCB. Apple Pay and Google Play (only via YooKassa website). Electronic money: UMoney, WebMoney, Qiwi Wallet. Online banks: Sberbank Online, Alfa-Click, Tinkoff. Mobile phone balance: Beeline, MegaFon, MTS, Tele2. Cash at terminals or payment points. Refunds. Application allows you to make refunds. When a transaction is refunded in Invision Community, the funds are automatically refunded to the buyer via YooKassa. Conversely, when refunded via YooKassa, the transaction is automatically refunded in Invision Community. Federal Law No. 54. Application supports sending data to generate a receipt for each payment, as well as a receipt for each refund. In this way, you can comply with Federal Law No. 54 of the Russian Federation, which obliges you to generate receipts in an online sales register and send them to the Federal Taxation Service of Russia. Two payment scenarios. Application implements two payment scenarios: smart payment and manual payment method selection. Depending on the scenario, the behavior on the Checkout step on your site differs. Smart payment is the simplest scenario. It redirects a user to the YooKassa website, where all available payment methods are listed. They can choose a convenient method, pay the bill, and then return to the site. Manual payment method selection is a more seamless scenario. The user selects a payment method on your site, and then goes to the site of the payment method. This can be YooMoney, Sberbank Online, Qiwi Wallet, and so on. Upon completion of the payment, the user returns to the site. The scenario selection is available in the payment method settings, so you can change it to the one that suits you best at any time. Changing the invoice status. For some people this point raises questions, so I think it is necessary to mention it separately. After payment on the YooKassa website is made, invoice in the Invision Community is marked as paid automatically (or marks for approval, if you set it up in the AdminCP). Other information You can find installation instructions on my website. This application works only with Russian rubles. There is no automatic conversion at the exchange rate. When placing an order in a different currency, the payment method becomes unavailable for selection.
