SuperTimeline is a carefully crafted listing template for Pages databases. As the name suggests, it allows you to show Pages records as a timeline. The template is fully responsive, supports left-to-right or right-to-left websites and comes with lots of options for granular control of what is shown in the listing template. Live demo link The template has 3 modes: Mode 1 will show the database order field next to the entry. Perfect for entries representing events that happened on a specific day. Mode 2 shows the database order field above the entry and it will group multiple entries with the same value. (For example: you can group entries which belong to a certain year or month.) Mode 3 hides the order field. Description: The modification allows you to charge for the possibility of adding topics in selected forum sections. It is a useful tool on forums with an exchange or other departments where adding new topics is checked and limited. Modification gives you the opportunity to earn money by adding new topics in selected forums. The purchase is made through the Commerce application - it is required for the correct operation of this application. You have the option of creating packages with different limits for new topics or creating one package (its name cannot contain a single number) so that the user can add topics for one year. In the absence of an option without a number in the name, it will be possible to purchase only limited packages. As I mentioned before - the Commerce application is necessary for proper operation. Usage: Create a new product field (Radio type), add packages there (each name must contain one number which will be the limit of new topics). One of the most commonly asked questions we get is how to ensure your new community launch is successful. You may think that if you have the right features with the correct configuration, success is guaranteed, but it requires more than that. Way back in the early 2000s when the internet was in its infancy, there was an explosion of new communities. If you had some webspace, a little technical knowledge and a forum script you were almost guaranteed to attract people into your community. These days it takes a little more work to get your new community off the ground. There’s a lot of books and resources out there to help, but focusing on your purpose, value, and emotion will give you a bright star to sail by. Purpose The purpose of your community should be very clear from the first visit. You want your new visitors to instantly understand the reason your community exists and the benefit they will get from it. This can be implicit with a short written mission statement at the top, or it can be through robust visual design and structure. When launching a new community, aim to be as specific as possible with your purpose. You can always broaden when it grows. This may go against your instinct to cast a wide net to catch as many people as possible, but resist that temptation! For example, a community focused on fitness has a vague purpose. Fitness is a broad topic, and there are many niches inside of it. This could be anything from losing weight, to running faster to increasing the weight on a barbell. Narrowing the focus to running helps a little, but there’s a lot of space in that field. You have marathon runners, ultra runners, Sunday park joggers and everything in between. A better starting point for a community may be “Run your first 5k”. This instantly makes it very clear to your audience that you intend to help new runners develop their ability enough to finish a short race. The sense of purpose is clear, and it is easy to know what to ask of this new community and the benefit you may get. This helps keep your support desk (and notification inbox) clear of clutter, even if the spammers are adept at bypassing CAPTCHAs. Features Activate spam filtering on a per-department basis. Control what happens when a support request is spam: you can either discard it entirely or create it with the Spam status instead of Open. Either way, your support desk staff will not receive any notifications. Flag false negatives and false positives by changing the request into or out of the Spam status. This will train Akismet to better recognize the spam impacting your support desk. Full integration with the Spam Defense Whitelist feature to exempt IP addresses or emails from spam filtering. IRONSIGHT is a light theme for Invision Community 4.5 with basic white / grey colors and a nice layout. It's free and comes without any brandings or visible copyrights. You can see a LIVE DEMO on our site at InvisionFocus.de (select Ironsight in the footer). Tested with Forums, Pages and Downloads. This is no multipurpose themeframework and comes - believe it or not - without any additional template changes, only custom CSS and build in IPS 4.5 theme settings. Although it's not equipped with millions of additional AdminCP settings, it is customizable in many ways. As far as possible the default settings are used and for advanced customization we have a support thread in english language too.
