This plugin allows users to individually choose whether or not to enable IPB's built-in badword filter feature, through a setting in their User CP.

When the setting is disabled, all posts, signatures and comments that user views will be unfiltered.

Some things to be aware of:

Due to how the default badword filtering operates, the setting will not affect posts prior to this modification's installation. It is not retroactive.

For SEO reasons, the setting does not affect topic titles, which are always filtered. There may also be other areas I've missed which are not impacted by the setting, one way or the other.

If you run a very-high-traffic site, this modification may cause slightly slower performance since the filters are applied on load rather than before the content is saved. Use it with caution.
