Social Engine Forum Connect is exactly like Facebook Connect besides from few differences. You can install this in your site and show a button to guests named "Connect" with Social Engine Forum mini logo. When a user clicked it, a dialog will be appeared and he or she can press one more button and register on your site with lightning speed. If he or she is not already logged into Social Engine Forum, it will show a login dialog instead. After user logged in he will be directed to application permission dialog.

There is 2 PHP files needs to be uploaded to your IP.Board. Every and very detailed documentation with instructions is included in the package. Also there is a hook file, with a 2 ready-made locations for Connect button included. Following settings will be available in Admin CP -> System Settings -> Hooks -> Social Engine Forum Connect.

• Social Engine Forum Connect Application ID - Enter your Social Engine Forum Connect Application ID given by the Social Engine Forum
• Show button on your Login Page - Do you want to show Social Engine Forum Connect button on your login page or not
• Show button on your Registration Page - Do you want to show Social Engine Forum Connect button on your registration page or not
• Default User Group - Select the user group which should work as the default group when importing users from Social Engine Forum

Additionally, for your knowledge, following information parameters will be sent to your server, end of every successful authentication at Connect API

• name - Account username
• email - Account email address
• ip_address - Last used IP address
• title - Account user title
• allow_admin_mails - User allowed to receive emails by admin or not
• time_offset - Time offset settings
• bday_day - Day of user birthday
• bday_month - Month of user birthday
• bday_year - Year of user birthday
• members_auto_dst - Auto DST settings
• members_display_name - User display name
• members_seo_name - User SEO optimized name
• members_created_remote - Account created using a remote system or not
• members_l_display_name - Last used display name
• members_l_username - Last used username
• members_pass_hash - Account password hash encrypted with MD5 algorithm
• members_pass_salt - Account password salt to match the password with user input

There is no work to do for you, except configuring the hook settings. As soon as your application approved by Social Engine Forum, your Connect API will be activated automatically. Also, if you want to place a Connect button at anywhere of your site, there is a little source code available in the documentation.
