Ortem is a Metro inspired design and is focused around a simple to use color picker, allowing your members to easily customize the colors of the layout by selecting from a preset array. The header area is large enough to accommodate for big logos and full width banners.

 

 

Skin features

 

"Settings" template file

This skin includes a settings file allowing you to easily enable or disable features within the skin. This makes modifications and upgrades very simple since little code changes are required.

 

 

 

 

Color selector

Your members can choose their own color from a predefined selection to restyle their skin according to their preference. The selection is saved via cookies for future sessions and can be disabled using the Settings file.

 

 

 

 

Fixed header

The header stays in a fixed location, and the content slides over the top when scrolled. This feature can be disabled using the Settings file.

 

 

 

 

Clickable forum rows

The forum rows are highlighted when hovered, and the entire row is linked to the forum (unless the user clicks on a subforum or the most recent topic).

 

 

 

 

Modified topic view

The topic page uses a horizontal design to focus your users attention on the content. This feature can be disabled using the Settings file.

 

 

 

 

Guest message

A customizable message is shown to guests, prompting them to either register or login to your forum.

 

 

 

 

Social buttons

Social buttons can be enabled/disabled allowing you to easily link to your social network pages (Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+, Vimeo, Pinterest & Flickr)

 

 

 

 

Alternate social buttons

The size of the social buttons can be customized easily (small, medium & large), which helps save space if you enable multiple buttons.

 

 

 

 

Optional tooltips

Forum descriptions can be placed inside animated tooltips (if enabled using the Settings file), resulting in a cleaner layout.

 

 

 

 

HTML text as logo

Changing the logo text is extremely easy by modifying the HTML text. If required, the text can be replaced by an image instead.

 

 

 

 

Individual forum icons

If enabled, you can customize the icons for each forum, allowing for easier identification. Easy to add your own, with instructions provided once purchased.

 

 

 

 

Grey-scale "no new" icons

Forum icons are converted to grey-scale using css filters in webkit browsers (Safari & Chrome) if there are no new posts in that forum. Other browsers simply reduce the icons opacity.

 

 

 

 

Mega footer

Popular and useful links have been added and categorized in the footer, providing easy access to your Invision addons & social links.
