This Rule Set will allow you to ensure that problem members in a specific thread can be banned from that thread. The way it works is simple. Edit the original post in any thread and search the member directory for the problem member. You can select as many members as you wish from the directory and any that appear in this list will be banned from the thread.

How to set up?

1. Import the Rule Set into Rules
2. Edit the Rule and choose the Action Tab
3. Edit the Action called 'Re-direct Member'
4. Enter the URL to re-direct members to when they are banned from a thread
5. Visit System -> Rules -> Custom Data Fields 
6. Select the padlock next to the 'Banned Members' option to set up which groups can Ban Members from a thread.

That is it - you are all set.
