With this fancy app you may earn money by changing and modyfing the affiliate urls adding by members on your board! 🙂

It maybe isn't beatifiull app but it's very good and brings new opportunities.

For example Amazon affiliate urls contain "tag" parameter which may be modified by adding your own value for that parameter or simply added into url.

Application is flexible so you may define your own affiliate parameters - "refby", "referredby" etc.

You may also delete specified parameters from urls or keep any.

You may also create custom CSS class and highlight any urls you like by your own CSS look.

 

Example:

Someone post this url:

It would change to that (with tag parameter):

Another example (with tag parameter):

It would change to:

Hi @DawPi, I found a bug in this whereas if you have two params to replaced/update and the values both include % symbols, the AdminCP settings won't save and all the params defined get wiped out on Save.

I'll PM you values as they are for my affiliate linking.  It's not the %, I'm not sure what is causing it.  These particular values only have _ and - in them, but if I do something like a_b-c they save fine.  However the longer values I have for my links don't save and wipe out all params.

Hi @DawPi, just wanted to confirm this only works with topics, comments, etc.  Other IPS apps that may create links would not be updated by this (i.e. using Adriano's Links Directory)

If you'd like to, that would be excellent and much appreciated!  In my case, it would have to work with other areas such as the third party app I mentioned earlier.  Really anywhere there is an affiliate type link that I have configured an override for in Advanced Regexp, I'd want to be effective anywhere a link is placed in IPS (Topics, Pages, Events, third party apps, comments, replies, etc).

Got it. I'll see what I can do. Should not be that hard to complete, but the main issue is time now for me.
