I had it installed, but it is no longer working. I purchased and downloaded the new custom links app ((DP45) Custom Links 4.0.5.3). How do I install it properly?

I just need more details how did you setup it, steps to reproduce the issue etc. As much details as you can write.

That's the thing - I have not set it up yet. I downloaded the zip file, but have not installed it. Do I do it via ftp, or what is the best way to do the install? Please provide as much detail as possible. Thank you.

Soo what is the truth then?

 

Any of mine mods has readme.txt (for apps) or install plugin.txt (for plugins) with the installation instruction.

I can tell you more - it's standard app, installing it isn't different than installing any other apps in the IPS4.

Hi DawPi

Recently I started having issue with YouTube sharing in our topics, the video will display in editing mode, but once I save the topic or post, the video disappears. I disabled each plugin and application to isolate if any of the plugins or apps was causing this issue, and with Custom Links disabled, the videos appeared. Can you give me some direction or confirmation if it indeed is this app that is causing the issue or not?

Hello. How to handle capital letters? For example, the phrases "Apple Vision Pro", "apple vision pro", "Apple Vision PRO" - the plugin can't recognize that these are the same thing?

It will work for any kind of these phrases. Do you want to parse only EXACT matches, right?

I think I figured out what the reason is. It doesn't work correctly in my language (Cyrillic letters), but it works fine in English. 🤔

There is nothing to fix. I can give you a manual for one file edit to change it to match exact phrases. Do you want it?

I don't need exact phrases We probably misunderstood each other. Look at the screenshots, it's the same phrase in Latin and Cyrillic.

In Latin, it finds all phrases as it should. But in Cyrillic, it only finds the exact phrase.

Shouldn't it work the same way?

I may try check it, but copy paste here that post content for tests. I can't rewrite it by myself.
