With Sound Board you can: Set a new default notification sound for your community. Allow members to customize their notification sound. Administrators can limit this ability to specific member groups. Choosing only the guest user group will force everyone on to your new default customization sound. Allow members' custom notification sounds to be playable on member profile pages. Disable the public display for your more naughty members and their naughty notification sounds... The playing of the notification sound flows as follows: 1) If a member has a custom sound, and has group permissions for a custom sound, that sound will play. 2) If not (no sound and/or no group permissions), and you have set a new default notification sound in the Sound Board ACP settings, that will play instead. 3) Otherwise, it will fall back to the IPS default notification sound. Members with group permissions to have a custom notification sound have a menu option right in the usermenu drop down. Drag and drop MP3 and WAV files and that's all that's needed. If you choose, you can toggle on the public display of a member's notification sound on the member's profile page. An HTML5 audio player holds the sound letting any visitor to the page the ability to hear it. This is a simple social feature, nothing more; a conversation starter or something along those lines. Naturally nothing will display unless the member is in a group that has permissions to have these custom sounds, and they actually have set one. Does a member have a notification sound that is not quite up to your community standards but you still want people to have their notification sound on their profile pages? Go to the problem member's entry in the ACP and toggle this feature off for this member. They still get to use their custom notification sound, but your community won't be exposed to it. Audio Formats/Limits: MP3, WAV. More can be supported in no time at all but the initial release will be just these two. I have a 5 meg limit on file size as well - no real reason other than it seems reasonable. Can be removed if needed. Instructions: Install app, config under the customization tab in the ACP, enjoy. Notes: This only changes the notification sounds that are sent out. It does nothing with the where/why/how of how notifications are generated. CIC users may need to be patient post install and after members add a custom notification sound as the CIC system takes a few minutes to duplicate/cache/CDN the sound file. Cost: $5 to get, $5/6 months. If you don't need support or a newer version feel free to skip one, renews are mainly a tip jar and to protect myself if IPS changes force me to work this over again. Support/Etc.: Support available for the time being in the IPS Marketplace topic. PMs are ok but the topic is far better. Keep in mind most devs here have other lives - we often will read a PM but we may not actually reply for quite sometime; please be patient. You are allowed to use this, after purchasing a license and downloading this from the IPS Marketplace, on one live site and any test/dev sites you have. Additional live sites require additional license purchases. Renewals (per purchase) entitle you to updated versions and ongoing support. Skip a renew if you don't need a new version or support. Support is limited to the default IPS theme and is for IPS license holders current on the application/plugin renewals (with a generous grace period). I'll give a hand, time permitting, to help you figure out what is wrong with your custom theme if there is a conflict but fixes in those cases will need to be made by your theme provider. [IPS Marketplace] Babble Chat Service
NewsBot opublikował(a) temat w Wiadomości z Invision Power Services
Demo: https://codingjungle.com/babble This product will require a license key. After purchase please register at my site (https://codingjungle.com) and send me a PM there, I will generate you the license key for you. if you would like to avoid the wait, you could always purchhase directly from my site: https://codingjungle.com/files/file/44-babble-chat-service/ there are 3 packages to choose from there and using the coupon code "Babble Bonanza" to save $25 off the initial purchase price (each subscription comes automatically with the service time listed). if you buy from here, it will be for a 6 month period. After install and activation of a license key it could take up to 2 hours before it fully active on the system. Babble is a real time chat system using node.js and sockets. It uses less resources and doesn’t rely on long polling or interval scripts to check for new message. Babble is fully featured with those features laid out below. The application will come with the first 6 months of service. Requirements: A modern browser that supports web sockets. (Firefox/IE11/Edge/Chrome/Safari supports websockets. For mobile browsers, I will only be supporting Safari and Chrome). Babble and the chat service will require a purchase per site and a bi-yearly renewal agreement. Features: Rooms: Babble comes with two default rooms that can not be removed. The “Babble” room is used by default for Babble, and the Widget Room is used by the “Widget” (the widget can be configured to use the default room). Each room has permissions that can be set like “View, Message, Whisper, Edit, Delete, Upload, and Archives”. Each room also has the ability to be configured independently of each other on uploads (what types and sizes), how many messages to show by default, rules to show before entering the room. Rooms can also have 3 bots they can configure (more on bots later). Rooms can be password protected. Uploads: Each room can be configured to allow uploads. If the upload is an image, the image will be “lazy loaded” and resized to fit the dimensions of the message area better. If it is a non-image upload, it will display a link to download. NOTE: Groups who can see the room, can also download and view images. Sounds: Babble comes with a collection of sounds for send, receive, entering, leaving and whispers. Users can enable or disable each sound as they see fit. The sound files can be replaced at any time in the ACP by pointing to the corresponding sound setting to the new location (this is to avoid future updates from overwriting your sound files). NOTE: due to some limitations in mobile OS’s (iOS and android) even if the sounds are enabled by the user, there is one additional step they must take to hear sounds on the effected OS’s. On mobile devices a Speaker Icon will appear, that will need to be activated to be able to hear sounds, this action must be done each page refresh. Whispers: Whispers are private messages that are sent in between users. They will open in a “tab” in the room and will flash when a new message is received if you aren’t currently active on the tab that is. Whispers only work inside the room, you currently can not “whisper” to some one who is not logged into the room you are in (at a later date this might change). Browser Notifications: A user can set how many new messages they receive in a room before a browser notification is triggered (or they can disable them all together). Currently these do not work on mobile OS’s, in the future I plan on adding notifications for iOS and Android. New Message Order: By default babble will order messages newest to oldest, for some users this might not be ideal, so they can reverse the order to oldest to newest. Any new message after this will honor the setting. Group Content: You can set a min. content count per room for each user group before they can send messages. You can use this feature as a reward to your members for participation on your site. Note: Messages made in babble will not increment content counts. Command Aliasing: you can set any number of aliases to existing/custom commands, this will help if you want to "localize" the commands. Stats - if stats are enabled for a room, you can keep track of basic stats like how many messages have been made in a room, the most online ever in a room, the current day's tally of how many have been in a room, and the top 5 users who make messages in a room. Archive - if enabled, a user can select to load messages previous made in the room. this is a group permission. BOTS: Babble comes with 4 bots, each serve a different function and are triggered in different ways. 3 of the bots can be configured per room, where the 4th bot can be configured to which rooms it sends messages too, as most of its settings are “global”. Hopefully Babble Bots can help you accomplish some pretty amazing things and enrich your users experience with babble. Time Bot: the time bot can be configured per room*. This bot can be configured to send different messages at different times**. You can use HTML/BBC in the bots messages. This bot runs from a task, so its HIGHLY recommend that you have your task configured to run as a cron job to see the best results. If not configured to a cron, this bot might not function properly. * you can configure this bot to store its messages in the database or not. Due to a technical limitation with node.js the bot is unable to check to see if there are any users in the room or not, so instead of having the chat history filled with messages from the time bot, they will “go away” on a page refresh. ** this is in minutes passed since the bot was configured, if you set a message to send every 10 minutes, then the first message will be sent 10 minutes after you configured the bot, and each additional message will be sent 10 minutes after this. Count Bot: This bot can be configured per room. You can configure this bot to send messages after x amount of messages sent by users*. You can also send different messages x amount of messages sent. You can use HTML/BBC and special variables(1) in your messages. * this does not include whispers sent or messages from other bots. Phrase Bot: This bot can be configured per room. You can configure this bot to send messages when a match to a word/phrase is made. You can have multiple matches for the same message or multiple messages for different matches. You can use HTML/BBC and specials variables(1) in the messages. Notifications: This is the bot that has a global configuration. This bot will send messages out when new content is posted to the supported applications*. Permissions are honored on these notifications, so if the user doesn’t have access to to view the area in question, they wont see the notification. This bot can only be configured to tell it which rooms to run in, the rest of its settings are global due to its nature. * IPS applications are the only ones support for notifications. In theory any application that uses the content item class should work, but I have only tested my own application that use this and they will work with it, so I’m pretty sure it will work with the other 3rd party application that use the classes. Babble has some API elements to it that will be document on my site later, so any application it doesn’t support, the application developer should be able to create a hook without much of a problem. (1) There are special variables that the count bot and phrase bot have access to, that can be used in the message, to show the name of the person who triggered, the bot’s name, and the match (this is for the phrase bot only). Bots can use commands, if it the command requires a the members name, use the special variable #member# Commands: Commands can perform special functions when issued. The commands can be issued thru the chat area (similar to how IRC does it). Some commands have group restrictions. You can add commands in 2 ways, in the ACP you can add basic commands , if you need more advanced functionality you can create a “command” file. Commands have been expanded greatly in 2.1, you can now "alias" them and the phrase/count bot can now use commands (the time bot can as well, but it wont have access to the #member# special variable). Command list: Announce – adds or removes an announcement to the room Ban – bans a user for a room. Unban – unbans a user for a room. BanList – Show’s who has been banned from a room. Ignore – Ignore a user in a room. Unignore – Stop ignored a user in a room. Kick – kick a user from a room. Me – an action command for a room. Mute – Mutes a member for everyone in a room. Unmute – unmutes the member in a room. Mutelist – shows a list of users who have been muted. Notifications – disables or enables notifications from the notification bot. Topic – adds or removes a chat topic from a room. Rules - Show the rules for a room if they have them. Password - sets a password for a room Purge - deletes all the existing messages in a room Stats - displays a rooms stats if enabled Rand - display a random GIF from giphy.com and many more! [IPS Marketplace] Ground Control
NewsBot opublikował(a) temat w Wiadomości z Invision Power Services
Ground Control Set custom background images across almost your entire IPS Community! Default Background (used all areas not customized) Forum Categories Forum Forums (carries over into the topics within!) Calendars Pages Database Index Pages Pages Database Categories (carries over to the content items within!) Gallery Categories (carries over into albums and images within) Commerce Product Groups (carries over to products within) Downloads Categories (carries over to download items within) Blogs (each individual blog can have their own) Clubs Supported! Club home page and members roster can have their own (shared) custom background. Each node type added to a club (forum, gallery, files, calendar) can have their own backgrounds too! 1) How are these backgrounds set in the theme/HTML? You have three options currently (available in Ground Control settings): On Body Element: Will over-ride the background set on the body element in your theme or custom css. If a Ground Control background (default or otherwise) is not present it will fall back to the body background already specified by your theme/custom css (if any). On HTML element: Will over-ride the background set on the HTML element in your theme or custom css. If a Ground Control background (default or otherwise) is not present it will fall back to the HTML background already specified by your theme/custom css (if any). If you have a body element background you will probably need to remove it otherwise it will display over top the html background. On a Special Background Element: This is a separate, new, HTML element placed underneath HTML > Body but before the header and remainder of the IPS HTML template code. This element is set to span the entire page with absolute positioning, given a z-index of -10, and a CSS 3D transition call that does nothing itself but will tell your browser to use your video card when rendering this element. Provided as an advanced option for users with more advanced thematic needs and also as a bullet-proof solution that will usually work no matter what your theme is doing. 2) Do I have to change anything with my theme? That depends on your theme. If your theme has a background picker available to members there might be some conflict depending upon how it does its thing. If the picker is setting a cookie that is then read GC should work fine, and the special background element option will 99.9% of the time do the job no matter what if there is somehow a conflict. If the picker is using Javascript to rewrite the element after page load is complete then the special background element is probably your only option unless you can disable the picker. 3) I'd rather have this image used somewhere else... Ask. Trivial to add in other CSS locations. Just understand that like the HTML, Body, and Special Background locations this would be a global setting - you won't be able to set forums to have the backgrounds on the Body element and the Gallery to have the background on the Header or something like that. 4) Where am I adding these backgrounds? Forum categories/forums: ACP Forum categories/forums add/edit form. Calendar: ACP Calendar add/edit form. Pages Database: ACP database add/edit form. Pages Database Categories: ACP database category add/edit form. Gallery Categories: ACP Gallery category add/edit form. Commerce Product Group: ACP Commerce product group add/edit form. Downloads Categories: ACP Downloads category add/edit form. Blogs: Front End - Manage Blog -> Manage Background. Clubs Index/Members: Front End - Manage Club -> Manage Background. Clubs Topic/Gallery/Blog/Download/Calendar nodes: Front End, after these nodes are created, Manage Club -> Edit this (Topic/Gallery?etc...). 5) What about profile pages and the streams pages and... Nope. Not right now. They will use whatever you have set as the GC default image (if any). 6) So what conditions do they display on? Application Index Pages and Misc Core Features (Profiles, Leaderboard, etc.): The GC default background will display if you have one set, falls back to whatever you have set in your theme/css settings otherwise. Application Nodes: These are things like Forum Categories, Forum Forums, Gallery Categories, Calendars, Downloads Categories, Commerce Product Groups, etc. Whatever you set on each of these individual nodes - every Forum category - every Forum Forum - every Commerce Product Group, and so on, can have a GC background of it's own. Content Items: Things like topics in a forum, images and albums (and album images) in a Gallery category, a product for purchase in a Commerce Product Group, etc. These will inherit the container background. That means if a Forum has a GC custom background, the topics within get that background too. An item for sale will have the page background from the Commerce Product Group it is in. And so on... If the container has no GC background applied, the content item will use the GC default background, and if that isn't there it falls back to whatever you have set in your theme/css. 7) So what happens when I have a category and then categories inside that category? If the parent category has a GC background, and the categories inside it do not have a GC background, those children categories will fall back to the GC default (if set) or the theme/css background (if set). I might look into parent/child fallback for application nodes later on but the solution to this is stunningly simple: just add backgrounds to those children categories - that is what this mod is for after all! 8) Anything quirky? Two exceptions, kind of. Pages and Clubs. Pages: Right now, a plain custom page of some sort is not supported. This is a page that just has whatever on it, no database attached to it. If you have a page that has a database attached to it then that database index page can have its own background. If that database has categories, those categories get their own backgrounds (and will not inherit the database background - they get their own or fallback) and items within a pages database category will inherit the category background. Non-database page support is something I'll have to look into later on. Keep in mind that all Pages pages can have custom css applied to them so this isn't really a problem for these custom non-database pages - just add what you need there. Clubs: Although it seems a little different, it really isn't all that much. Individual clubs themselves can have custom GC backgrounds set for the club index page and the member roster (same background). Then, since the club features such as topics, images, files, calendar, etc. are all just specially segregated versions of those IPS applications, the same Ground Control options apply to them as well. For each of those you can specify a custom GC background. Have 3 topics tabs and two files tabs? No problem! Every one can have their own GC background. Clubs is brand new and a little rough around the edges (also uses PHP Traits which isn't exactly hookable in IPS...) so I'm supporting Clubs with this but also treading really carefully. The only real quirk is I'm only allowing the add/edit of GC backgrounds AFTER a club node (topic, gallery, etc.) is created, not during. NOTES: 1) For the initial release of Ground Control, backgrounds are set to display in cover mode, fixed, centered. 2) A good practice for all background images is trying to keep the file size down. 500kb or less is a good idea. Giant 1-3 MB files will only further slow down your user's browsing speed. Even when user browsers cache these images they are still large and need time to draw in. 3) Adding GC background images to the Club or Club nodes (topics, images, etc.) is available after the club and/or club node is created. Once created, just edit/manage the club/club node and the GC background image option will display. 4) For this initial release of GC the fall back for Club nodes if you do not set a background on them is your the GC default (if set), then theme/css default (if set), not the club default. Solve this by setting custom backgrounds on those nodes! NOTES FOR ADVANCED USERS: 1) Images are stored with each individual node, not in a separate db, and so are available with the requisite $node->gcbgimage nomenclature (inspect database table structure for exact variable to call) 2) Every node background image has its own File Extension. FUTURE: Possible efficiency improvements. Manage the Ground Control background-image css. Possibly allow you to specify application top-level backgrounds. So the forum index page would have a background, the gallery index page would have its own, and so on. This is the initial release, it's just getting started, expect Ground Control to get more options as we go along. Compatible: 4.2 - Not sure if this will work on 4.19 or lower given the Clubs stuff. Untested but I'll take a look in a day or two. License: One buy, one live site (dev/test sites are fine). Support available for the time being in the IPS Marketplace topic. You are allowed to use this, after purchasing a license and downloading this from the IPS Marketplace, on one live site and any test/dev sites you have. Additional live sites require additional license purchases. Renewals (per purchase) entitle you to updated versions and ongoing support. All rights reserved. View the full article -

NewsBot opublikował(a) temat w Wiadomości z Invision Power Services
This plugin will let you define default message templates for each of your forums. For example, if you have a particular section section that you want your users to create an introduction topic for example, when users will click the Create New Topic button for that section, the topic title and content will be populated automatically with the whatever text that you have entered. The user can either use that or enter their own text. You can auto fill the templates for topics on a forum per forum basis by editing the forum or forums in questions and going to the Topic Template section. View the full article -
