This app wants to improve, especially with the user's advice, the new CLUBS feature (4.2+). It is now released at a special price because many of the features are still under development. This plugin will add a link on each forum to display all users who visted that particular forum. The visits will be logged from the time when the plugin is installed and onwards. Previous visists from before will not be logged. If an user visits the same forum more than one time, their visit date will be updated to reflect their last visit of the forum. Only members with permissions will be able to view the forum visitors. You can also select groups whose visits you do not want to record and decide how many members to display with the pagination setting. This application will give the administartors the possibility to read all the personal conversations that are being sent in their forums. This is meant to keep an eye on your forum with the purpose to root out any potential rivals, or any illegal activities. So please use it for that purpose only and do not invade users privacies for no reason at all. To view the personal conversations, go to the Members tab and select the Monitor PM's link from the drop down list. All the personal messages will be displayed there. This application will give the admins the ability to feature members for a certain period of time along with adding a reason as to why those particular members have been featured. Installation To install the application, go to the Application section in your admin panel, click the Install button, select the aplication file and hit the Install button. Configuration To a feature a member, go to the members section in your admin panel, click the name of the member that you want to feature and go to the Feature section. You can feature that particular member there, enter a reason, (optional), as to why you are featuring that member, and select the number of days that you want to feature that member. Display After a member has been featured, they will be displayed on the sidebar, board index on a random order. You can select the number of members to show on sidebar and board index and select which group or groups can view the featured members. Featured Members Page All featured members will be displayed on a page that can be linked to the navigation manager. To display it, go to the Menu Manager section in your admin panel and select the Featured Members link. Task A cron has been added that will run once a day and it will remove all featured members whose featured time has been expired. Admin Logs Each time that a member is featured or unfeatured, will be logged in at the Admin Logs. This is a simple plugin which does just what the title says: it hides "empty" reviews. When upgrading your community from 3.4.x, you are able to convert "ratings" to "reviews" in the new system. However, these converted ratings all end up being displayed as reviews with no associated text, which is unsightly and generates pointless clutter. This plugin allows you to keep ratings from the old system and simply hides them from view the reviews tab. This means old ratings will still count towards an items overall rating, but the review page won't be cluttered with those empty reviews. Members will still see their own review, regardless; this way a member who previously rated a file in the old system can still edit their review and add content to it after you upgrade. Sendfile Sendfile is an IPS plugin that implements server X-Sendfile support into the software suite. Before purchasing, be sure to download and run the test script provided to ensure your server is properly configured for X-Sendfile support. sendfile_test.zip To run the test script, simply upload the "sendfile_test" folder to your websites root, and then navigate to "http://yoursite.com/sendfile_test" in your browser. You will be prompted to run a simple test to ensure X-Sendfile is functioning properly on your server. What is X-Sendfile? In short, it gives PHP a way to tell your web server to deliver files to the client after proper permission checks and other actions have been performed by IPS. This way, you are not relying on PHP itself to deliver the files to the client. The reason you don't want PHP to handle file transfers is simple: PHP is really inefficient at it. This is particularly important if you run IPS in a self-hosted environment and your community makes heavy use of attachments or IP.Downloads file submissions. When you have a lot of users trying to download files concurrently, PHP will rapidly consume your servers available memory pool and, assuming your server makes use PHP-FPM or fastCGI, it will lock up your available PHP processes that are used to serve pages to your other users. This means basic topics and other pages will not load until another users download has completed. By utilizing X-Sendfile, you are able to pass the workload back off to the web-server.
