when i try to edit ipbstyles.Css it become blank and nothing in it after i save it !!

i gave all permissions related to styles and css !

You shouldn't edit files on FTP but in ACP.

Could you write what you tryin' to do?

i tried to change the direction of the style ... so i just added the rtl direction .. and even whe i try to change the align direction and save it ... it gets blank and the site becomes white and no any effects or colors .

I don't understand you why you connet lang files to CSS.

because what i want to do is changing all to fit my language .. so i changed the files to my language but when i install again it makes the english files .. i want to save my changes in CSS and languages files . got me ??

Yes. This is normal situation. You should have all lang phrazes in SQL! IP.Board when you installing new lang from xml file, it caching in files also.

We have the same problem with Polish translation. But our Manager ( me ) made script for copy lang phrazes from php files to database.

When we start move translate from php to SQL we do it manually - file after file.

here what i've done .. i installed the board and it makes the languages files in english as default .. i translated the files one by one manualy from lang_files in cashe .. all i need is how to make them the default files to install ??

Hym, so copy main lang pack in ACP you have option for this and then copy your translated files into cache/lang_cache/2/ ( i think so ).
