This application is perfect for you if you have users wanting to join a certain group. It lets users post a request for a group, which will be then sent to an administrator and/or any other person that you decide to help you managing requests ('moderators of requests'). But not all users, only users that satisfy some requirements will be able to post a request, like age, current group, reputation etc etc. See preview images for more infos. The application comes with an innovative "Question System", that means that, for each group, you create some questions that users will have to reply before posting their request. This is useful if you want to know more about each user, and will help you with your decisions. Every request will have a status: - Not Yet Considered: like the name says, the request has been posted but no one has still considered it yet. - In Pending: someone of your staff (or you), has read the request. You're now taking your time with that, you might want to know how the user act in your board before taking your decision. - Accepted: this means that the request has been accepted, but not yet confirmed by an administrator. - Confirmed: the request has been confirmed, and the user has joined the group requested. - Refused: Something's wrong with this request/user, and has been refused. This hook will enable you to add permissions on groups basis for posting all kind of links in posts, threads, pm's and signatures. Installation and Configuration: To install this application, upload the admin folder inside the Upload folder to the root of your forum folder. Then go to your Admin Panel->Applications & Modules->Manage Applications & Modules and on the right side where it says: Applications Not Installed you will see a new application added called: Anti Spam. Click on the install button. By default it is set to allow all groups to posts links. If you want to disallow a group and/or groups from posting links, go to the Members tab then from the drop down list choose Member Groups->Manage Member Groups. Then choose the group and/or the groups that you want to prevent from posting links, click the edit button and you will see an extra tab added there called: Anti Spam. There will be 3 settings to prevent groups from posting links in posts, pm's and signatures. Set the settings there to No for whatever area that you want to prevent that group from posting links.
