First of all let me say that there is no way all the proxy servers can be blocked as there are millions of them out there. This hook is tested with a dozen proxies and it stopped 9 out of 12. Only 3 slipped through. Another thing to consider is that some University, Companies or Countries, like Singapore for ex, access the web through a gateway proxy. So users coming from that country or using Pc's from Universities, Libraries or Companies that get access online through proxies will be blocked. It may affect some AOL users too. So please keep these things in mind before you purchasing this hook. That said, this hook will prevent registration behind proxy servers. After you install the NoProxyreg.xml file through Manage Hooks in your Admin Panel, you can configure it at the System Settings. There you will see a new setting called NenaDice. This hook allows you to customize how you want a filter to work on text and textarea fields inside of IP.Content. You may not know this, but IP.Content hard codes the specific comparison made for each filter inside of the code. Date filters, for example, always provide results that are AFTER the date you put in. For all of the text and textarea fields, your results are a simple substring search. This hook fixes a small bug inside of IP.Content 2.1.1 and older that treats all numeric columns as text as well. So if you have a field called 'price' and want to filter all the values that equal 2 you would get all records whose price contains the number 2. So you may see things like '20.00', '3.29', and '45.02' in your results. Directions - In your filter box, if you choose a text field it will now allow you to provide a hint as to the comparison method. IP.Chat 5 user room provided for free to all customers with an active support contract. Blogged about expected updates to our addon applications Released public phpdoc documentation for developers IP.Downloads 2.1.0 released final. IP.Downloads 2.1.0 provides friendly URLs, upload progress bar, multiple files per record, interface updates, and more.
